Complete restoration and renovation of the existing first floor of the water damaged 1926 original school building as well as the Gymnasium and Roussel Center. The 52,000 square foot renovation consisted of new athletic wood floors and carpet in the gymnasium, a new roof for the Roussel Building, 3 new custom elevator retrofits, auditorium including new rigging and stage lighting, kitchen with hood exhaust systems and a walk in cooler and freezer, eleven classrooms, student commons, administrative offices and the boiler room. All electrical and mechanical systems were completely replaced. Also, the original cypress windows were tagged and removed, restored off site, and reinstalled with all original, refurbished operable parts. The entire schoolyard parking area was removed and replaced with 4” crushed stone and 6” of concrete.
