RGGC Begins Work at Metairie Park Country Day School
Metairie Park Country Day School is about to move forward with a more than $2 million project to relocate, demolish and rebuild a pair of old cottage buildings that house the school’s early childhood programs. Gary Lotz, director of facilities for the Metairie school, said the more than 80-year-old buildings are being replaced with a 10,000-square-foot complex of buildings that are designed to mimic the architecture of other buildings on campus.
SCNZ Architects of New Orleans designed the project, which will be built by Ryan Gootee General Contractors of Metairie. The three-phase project will take one year to complete.
